CUPE local 3902

The Canadian Union of Public Employees local 3902 represents Teaching Assistants (TA) under the Unit 1 Collective Agreement. This means that you have benefits and protected rights as a worker. You can also participate in CUPE voting, meetings, and officer elections. Students in the Geography Department and Program in Planning elect their CUPE stewards/representatives at the GGAPSS AGM each fall.

In 2014, three Department students (Caitlin Henry, Katie Mazer, and James Nugent) authored a short history of recent CUPE 3902 activities entitled The Strike That Almost Was (click the link to download it).
