  1. 1. Gin Jacobs:
    – 1 measure London dry gin
    – 2 measures white wine
    – Pour over ice in a highball and fill with tonic water
    – Serve with slice of lime

    2. David Harvey Wallbanger
    – 3 measures vodka (the more Soviet Russian the better)
    – 1 measure Galliano
    – Pour over ice in a highball and fill with blood-orange juice
    – Serve with a dash of bitters

    3. The Creative Glass
    – 2 measures Hendrick’s gin
    – Half measure of triple sec
    – Dash of angostura bitters
    – Dash of Bavarian dry white
    – Pour over ice and fill with pure Florida orange juice

    4. The Robert Moses Manhattan
    – 3 measures American bourbon
    – 1 measure Italian vermouth
    – Add Italian vermouth to a shaker, stir briefly, and dispose of. Replace contents with pure American bourbon
    – Serve with a twist of orange peel

    – pickle brine, pbr, bourbon

  3. The Triple Sec Bellwoods:
    – 1 tallboy of Pabst Blue Ribbon
    – 1 measure Triple Sec
    – Open can, pour in triple sec, stir gingerly and wrap in paper bag

  4. The Streetcar
    – 1 1/2 extra old Cognac (can substitute bourbon)
    – 1 ounce triple (car) sec
    – 1/2 ounces lemon juice
    – A lemon twist (refreshing in the sweltering summer heat)
    (can substitute sugared rim to cut the winter ice)

    Shaken (30 minutes), not stirred

  5. The LRTea
    – 1 Measure (L)ondon dry gin
    – 1 Measure white (R)um
    – Add to Long Island Ice tea mix
    – Stir slowly and with great disinterest

  6. The Rob Ford
    – 6 oz Vodka
    – Tampico
    – Jamaican rum

    Best enjoyed with a subway sandwich

    (or a dry, limp burger from Steak Queen)

  7. The RC Cola Filtration Plant:
    – 2 measures Scotch whiskey
    – Pour over ice and top with RC cola
    – Serve with a maraschino cherry skewered with a plastic CN Tower

    Toronto Sunrise
    – 3 parts tequila
    – 6 parts orange juice
    – 1 part grenadine

    Scarborough Sling
    – 8 parts gin
    – 4 parts cherry brandy
    – 1 part Cointreau
    – 1 part Benedictine
    – 2 parts grenadine
    – 16 parts pineapple juice
    – 6 parts lemon juice
    – Dash angostura bitters

    Mississauga Mule
    – 2 parts vodka
    – 1 part lime juice
    – 3 parts ginger beer

    North York Negroni
    – Gin
    – Red vermouth
    – Campari
    – Bitterness (just, like, in general)

    Into a pint glass,
    – 50mL Citadelle Gin
    – 100mL Cognac
    – 350mL Porter or Stout
    – 50mL Champagne
