This opening session of a guest speaker series will detail the relationships between aspects of colonial and post-colonial urban planning and the formation of a highly globalized street.  Through the various intersecting histories and the information ecology of the street, we will explore the ways in which civic infrastructure fits into a city, a culture, and a history.
