Intersections Panel on ‘Nature’ this Friday at 3PM

Intersections Cordially Invites you to:

***A Panel Discussion on ‘Nature’***

Friday, January 11
SSH 2125

The study of human-environment relationships is one of geography’s core strengths. Indeed, it has at times been taken as a definition  of geography itself. At the heart of relationships between humans and the environment lie issues concerning nature. What is nature, and how does our understanding of what nature is effect how we study it?  This panel will provide an opportunity for human and physical  geographers and planners to reflect on how nature is used as a  category and a topic of research within our subdisciplines.

Miriam Diamond, Deb McGregor, Ken McDonald, and Aisling Brady.

Moderator: Emily Eaton
